Innovative Project Opportunities

CM Global’s projects focus on products that are renewable and beneficial to us as humans but also to the planet. Please see the various projects and locations in which CM Global is currently engaged.

Industrial Hemp Projects

Estimated in 2022 to be valued at USD 6.8 billion, the global industrial hemp market is projected to reach USD 18.1+ billion by 2027. With over 25,000+ possible product applications possible, industrial hemp is defined as the plant Cannabis Sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis.

Since industrial hemp contains less than 0.3% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it has a wide range of applications in the textile, food, and beverage, construction, animal care, personal care, pharmaceutical, paint, lubricant, bioplastic, and biofuel industries. One of the major drivers of the global industrial hemp market is the legalization of hemp cultivation in various countries.

Hemp's nutrient-rich profile and its benefits to human health due to the high content of essential fatty acids in hemp seed and oil which aids in the prevention of many common ailments, leading to its increased use in food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products.

Furthermore, materials extracted from the hemp plant can be used as a natural fiber alternative to mineral, wool and plastic foam insulation products or as aggregate in hempcrete. These materials have a combination of positive behaviors, buffering the heat changes inside and outside a building while regulating humidity. This is especially true of hempcrete, which can easily be formed to provide a seamless fire-proof thermal blanket to a structure that resists mold and has no toxic off-gassing. By 2030 industrial hemp will account for over $9+ billion of economic output in rural areas alone.

Industrial hemp opportunities: Thailand, Morocco, Mongolia, and Armenia.

Biochar Projects

Supporting sustainable agriculture - Biochar is a charcoal-like substance that is made by burning organic material from agriculture and forestry wastes (biomass) in a controlled process called pyrolysis, and this has been identified as one of the key components in a carbon-negative strategy. This powerful soil amendment can be a significant tool to increase food security and crop diversity, particularly in areas with depleted soils, limited organic resources, and scarce water. The increased soil fertility and agricultural yields from the use of biochar may also decrease the need for further deforestation for agricultural purposes and sequester carbon to reverse global warming.

Studies have shown that for every one ton of carbon produced in our patented system; it creates 2.9 tons of Carbon Dioxide Removal Credits (CORCs) that are tradeable in the carbon marketplace. The global biochar market was valued at US$1.5 billion in 2022 and is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 14%, to reach US$4.2 billion by 2030, due to globally rising awareness for organic products and growing government initiatives to reduce the carbon emissions from agricultural activities.

Driven by the high demand of various governmental bodies, CM Global has identified Biochar as a priority opportunity as its production and use brings healing benefits to the environment via soil and water remediation, which has numerous possible applications around the globe.

Biochar opportunities: Thailand, Morocco, Malaysia, Mongolia, and Armenia.

Windmill Blade Remediation Projects

“Wind turbines are the symbol of sustainability and green energy” because they generate electricity without emitting pollutants and greenhouse gases. The useful life of a wind turbine is around 25 years, although it can usually be extended to 30 years if the investment in maintenance is adequate. Most of its components are recyclable, although the challenge lies in recycling the wind blades efficiently.

Using our very own patented kiln and proprietary pyrolysis system, Mobile Kiln Systems (MKS) to process the wind turbine blades and yield fiber glass pellets that can be reused in injection mold and extrusion manufacturing processes. The MKS has been tested by US government agencies including The US Corp of Engineers, USDA, EPA for government, and by colleges such as Cornell, Texas A&E, and etc.

Windmill Blade Recycling opportunities: United States, Europe, Africa, Asia.

Hemp (CBD / Medicinal) Projects

Because of its medicinal properties, the key driver impacting the market is the growing call for CBD for wellness and good health. The greater acceptability and use of products due to regulatory approvals and the rising occurrence of chronic diseases and its related complications, are just the few key factors projected to increase the production of items infused with CBD.

Choosing the best environment for growing hemp for CBD product creation is a crucial first step. CM Global team’s ability to find the right phenotypes for genetics needed for a growing area has helped us to be successful in many situations, in many countries.

As respective countries still deciding the best path forward of hemp utilization for their country, CM Global is actively working closely with several government bodies and has been the instrumental for their promotion and education of hemp, its benefits and opportunities, and how best to bring to market hemp products in each country and region.

Using both vertically and horizontally integrated operations (depending on location and requirements) which fully utilizes the entirety of the hemp plant; we can provide cultivation, extractions, processing, and product creation for CBD-based product demand.

Hemp (CBD/Medicinal) project opportunities: Thailand, Morocco, Mongolia, and Armenia.

Cannabis (THC / Medicinal) Projects

Cannabis is rapidly becoming recognized for its medical benefits rather than the negative social stigma. More people are turning to cannabis-based medical products due to the rising number of chronic diseases and its related complications, and the increased medicinal usage of cannabis and product diversity of cannabis based medical drugs.

The rising in healthcare expenditure, the increased medicinal use of cannabis, the controlled legalization and use of cannabis in various industries, the advanced methodologies present in the field and increasing investment in the medical cannabis sector, are some of the factors expected to drive the market growth.

Working closely with various governmental bodies, CM Global has been instrumental in the promotion and education of cannabis, its benefits, opportunities, how best to bring to market cannabis products in each country or region.

Whether for medicinal use only, or full recreational legalization, CM Global have established relationships with several governments who are considering the future prospect of THC productions and products in their respective countries.

Using both vertically and horizontally integrated operations (depending on location and requirements) which fully utilizes the entirety of the cannabis plant; we can provide cultivation, extractions, processing, and product creation for THC-based product demand.
